Pictou Lobster Carnival Committee

One of Nova Scotia's oldest and most beloved summer festivals. Three days of lobster suppers, live music on the waterfront, carnival rides, fireworks, and community entertainment in the heart of Pictou.

The Pictou Lobster Carnival has been a cornerstone of Pictou County's summer calendar for over 70 years. The festival takes place along the scenic Pictou waterfront and draws thousands of visitors from across Atlantic Canada and beyond. **What to expect:** - Fresh lobster suppers — enjoy a full boiled lobster dinner with all the fixings right on the waterfront - Live musical performances on the main stage throughout all three days - Carnival midway with rides, games, and attractions for all ages - Fireworks spectacular over the harbour on Saturday night - Craft vendors, local artisans, and food trucks - Children's entertainment and family activities The carnival has kicked off with a parade through downtown Pictou for decades — don't miss the opening ceremony at the waterfront bandstand.
